Marissa Miller

Marissa’s background in movement began at age 3 in gymnastics, alongside extensive training in multiple dance disciplines. Her path led to circus arts after a backstage tour of a Cirque du Soleil production sparked a lasting love for contortion. She went on to train and perform with West Coast Contortion & Acrobatics, studying elite-level contortion for 5 years under renowned coach Anne Lawton. Marissa has also trained with internationally respected artists including Mongolian contortionist Otgo Waller, Las Vegas aerialist Kristi Toguchi, and former Cirque du Soleil handbalancer Tyler Aryes, and has performed at corporate and private events across the Lower Mainland, including EA Sports, Top 30 Under 30 events, and the 55+ BC Summer Games.

With over 10 years of teaching experience, Marissa is known for creating a supportive, technique-focused environment that emphasizes safe flexibility development and strengthening. Her teaching certifications include Alixa Flexibility (Modules 1–5), Acrobatic Arts, and Deflying Fitness. She is passionate about helping students build confidence, control, and artistry in high-level acrobatics and contortion.
